Resolume Forum

I wanted to know if anyone had any luck connecting iconnect midi to Resolume. There doesn't seem to be any other instructional info out there by way of a google search. So I can't seem to find a simple way to follow how to get midi sent out from an iconnect midi to be recognized in Resolume. Ultimately I wanted to get a wired connection from Lemur on my iPad rather than use wifi. Currently i can get the iconnect to recognize the signal out from my lemur, but i cannot get resolume to see any signals from the iconnect box. Resolume also shows the iconnect channels as options to select within the midi preferences of Arena, so I'm nearly there. However once I go to map a button in the Arena settings, it does not recognize when i use a fader on my lemur app. I just can't tell if it's what i'm selecting from lemur as the culprit or if it's a setting imbedded in my core midi settings, or if it's the iconnect itself.

Something step by step and simple would be extremely helpful in getting me to send/receive one signal without wifi!

The best way to troubleshoot midi connection problems on OSX is to use the free app Midi Monitor to see what messages your midi device is actually sending out, if any.

Once you have that info, we can take it further from there.
