I just got a new dell laptop with 4K resolution and I cannot read any of the screens. I have tried changing resolutions, attaching external monitors and outputting only to external monitor and I still can't read anything. Any ideas?

What do you mean by reading any of your screens?

I get it, you've got a 4K monitor on a laptop and things are so small you can't read the user interface, correct?
If that's the case, you'll either need to adjust the resolution of your main screen down to where you can read or change the size of everything by tweaking the size of your text and other items.
To do so, open file explorer, enter Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display in the search bar and make the necessary adjustments.

Also, you can drag the boundaries between the different zones (indicated by yellow lines in pic below) in Resolume to size things up.

4K is a quite trendy video vocabulary. And many players like Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player
http://www.macblurayplayer.com/ could support 4k nowadays.
