No more than 5 layers in Resolume/CoGe, but running Ableton as well... Needs to be bullet proof. Low resolution.

So which would you get? A refurbished MBP with a designated video card, or off-the-shelf current MBP without a video card? The current MBP with video card is out of my budget.

you ll need the extra videocard for sure...

so go with the older on... or think about windwos...

CoGe is Mac only, and I use both.
