Is it possible?

Hi all, I'm vetting the software for a tricky setup.

I have one image field that is 4 small projectors wide for the top section, and 2 large projectors wide for the bottom section (attachment illustrates the layout).

Can R4 Arena stitch these screens into one?

Any insight is much appreciated!

Yes, it can...depends on your server itself if it can handle the resolutions and the outputs to pull this off...

Awesome! Thank you for the quick response! So I'm assuming that the scaling is to be handled by my video cards and the overlap / blending will be handled by R4 Arena?

Essentially, am I trying to "arrange my desktop" to get as close to the arrangement as possible and then fine tuning with Arena?

Depending on the content, and the machine you use, a macbook pro could do this with 2 triplehead2go, or the desktop with a Nvidia late 800 series or 900 series graphics card, with displayport 1.2 technology, which would allow you to use a MST hub, thus having up to 6 independent displays.

here would an slight example of the configuration in the advanced output...where you see slices and screens, you would have your 6 outputs(screens), each screen would have a slice, which would be a section of the composition, and divided as shown...

Hopefully this helps to clarify some stuff...

Resolume on a whole, utilizes only one GPU, to do its rendering and scaling, so even if you have dual graphics card the one that has the operator screen connected to it, will be the workhorse and it will copy the data to the next one....
