please allow diffrnt layer blend modes per layer per deck

i often wish that i wasn't tied to having the same layer blend modes on the same layers on every single deck.
i wish decks could (optionally?) have independent and unique layers from other decks, where deck 1's layer 1 has "LIA, ADD, BURN" and deck 2's layer 1 has "LKI, Shif, Dodg" (chosen arbitrarily for example)
this would let us be a bit more free and not stress as much about choosing the "right" layer blend mode settings on the "Right" layers in advance of working on a single project with multiple decks for multiple songs.

This is one of those things where you start blurring the line between deck and composition.
In principle, a Res composition consists of 1 or more layers with masks, effects and other settings. The blend modes for a layer are part of that property set.
Decks consist of clips of content, that can have individual effects, masks and settings, that are applied together with the layer properties.
When you switch decks, you switch out the content for a composition, but you don't switch the composition itself. Layers stay the same as they were, with the same effects, masks and blend modes. You can see this especially well when you load a deck from a different comp into the current comp. The content comes over with all effects and settings, but not the layer settings from the other comp.
What you describe would mean introducing a deck level, where you are basically switching compositions when switching between decks. It's not undoable, but quite large in scope with possibly very unpredictable results when you start mixing content, decks and comps by loading decks comps from one deck into another. So it's not something we're very excited about.
What we're currently thinking about, is to let individual clips have an option to set a blend mode. This would work similar to how individual clips can have a different trigger style or trigger target than the composition.
This approach would allow you to prepare your set in a way that you like, while staying true to the current Resolume workflow and 'philosophy'.
