wow.. great black start..

Hi Resoulume crew..
well im back again after years, just downloaded resolume (win8, sony vaio notebook, vga connecnr, 4gb ram, very old panasonic pt-l595e lcd projector -> displaysharing works) and tried to change the output *BOOM it got weired
.. dependend if i choose display 1 OR 2 either the projector or the notebook goes black/normal again and again every half second AND one of the displays goes black.. if i click WINkey + P for the displayconfig i can see it on the black display but it appears/disapears too.. cant really work like that 
whats wrong, anybody an idea??
damn really, i was really looking forward to do some kitchen mapping...
