3200 lumens isn't much so you'll be limited to very small mapping projects or very dark rooms.

Ok so what do you recomend for a start up?
I need a proyector that give me a good amount of space to work with and that whenever Im ready to take it to another level I wont be limited by the hardware

What is a good amount of lumens ?
WXGA? SXGA?
Shift Lens? Any other "Do" in Proyector buying?

Im getting my head around this for a while before I buy something but I rather much have a straight answer than follow a "Best Newbie Proyector" guide so I aprecciate the answer ! :D

If you're on a budget, you'll have to prioritize.

I would think if you want to do professionally, brightness should be you #1 priority. Since who cares how good your work is if they can't see it.

Resolution is important but a good old XGA projector (1024x768) can work quite well.

Lens shift is not as important if you're using only one projector but it's a plus. I don't think very many consumer grade projectors have V shifts and probably none have H shift.

Not all that being said, I would think 5K is a good amount of lumens and will let you work on some medium size image (16ft wide or so) in dim rooms.

Take a look at this spreadsheet: Projection Calculator [PUBLIC]. You can download it and change the parameters to figure out what projector and lens will work for you.
