I understand you can do something like this with Kinect
But are there any other way to make this kind of FX/style with regular content
Im spitballing here:

Manipulate a video throug some plugin in resolume or any other software and you get a 3d mapped image like the ones I attach?

Changin some parameter in resolume that breaks the video and change it into a Vector with just Little dots connecting everywhere?

Also I know you can do this with code but I have no idea where to start

Im a music producer so im thinking like one in the way that you can do anything you want with the right tools so I hope you guys know what im trying to ask and excuse my english

Trapcode Form can be applied to suitable source to create 2.5d that is similar. 3D apps and Element 3D can render wireframes but you'd need a 3D model to start with.
