Hi there !
Hope everyone is doing find.

First of all, I swear I tried my best finding a solution on this website, searched on the forum, other VJing forums, etc... I have also read the Resolume manual, the FAQ, and many tutorials about the DXV converting.
If I missed something, please be kind with me and let's assume that I did cause of English not being my native language :)

I recently switched to Resolume , and am having huge issues getting all my clips into DXV codec for months now.
I got a few low size videos working perfectly, but when I try converting heavier files I always end up with some trouble : with Mpeg streamclip I get black screens with only sound, with Adobe Media Encoder I get very low FPS (between 4 and 12...).
Of course, all my drivers are updated. When I download a big 1080 clip already in DXV, it works find !
I tried all the recommended settings on this website for both encoding programs, and try changing them all almost one by one...
Tried installing DXV codec again to...
I tried lowering frame size or fps, it sometimes made the videos play up to 15 or 20 fps but I not even sure it's related.

Also my computer is not having a hard time at all ! CPU, GPU and RAM are running find (monitored with HWMonitor) !

I'm working with Resolume Arena 4.1.8
My laptop is a MSI ge60 2pe apache pro (bought 2 months ago for professional use)
CPU : Intel core i7-4720hq (two cores at 2.6GHz)
GPU : NVIDIA GTX 860 M
4GO RAM
Windows 7 pro 32 bit

I'm having a really hard time with this issue, I have to perform next week and hope to be able get everything to work fine by then...
Thanks a lot for your help !
Greetings from France ;)

The most recent dxv versions (v3) work only well with the recent resolume versions, so first update your resolume to 4.2.2 you can find it in the downloads, other versions.
If your clips have audio, then make sure you set uncompressed format for the audio stream.
Also you should double-check that resolume uses the Nvidia graphics, you can do that by opening Preferences - Feedback - view log, and search for openGL renderer.

Yeah, DXV3 was commercially released with Arena 4.2 and it's not backwards compatible:

First of all, DXV3 encoded movies will only work in Resolume 4.2 and above. In previous versions, Resolume will think they are very big and slow Quicktime files, and you will not have a good time. If you want to use DXV3, you're committed to Res 4.2.
