overscan background black color option

working with a christie 15k projector, bmd intensity shuttle over composite, I noticed that the projector does more overscan horizontally, and fitting the picture, the green box appeared on top and bottom.
for setup the green color is great, but it would be nice to be able to switch that green to black once the adjustment is done in advanced output.

I'm just wondering why you are using composite! It's about as bad as it gets so why not use HDMI or at least component?

Yeah, I know.
Costs and compatibility,
the projector is about 100m away, and we have analogue video mixers.

Blackmagic Analog to SDI adaptor perhaps?
Cheaper than rewiring a venue, and would allow the analog mixers to get to the projector (assuming it has an sdi input).

Or a VGA/Composite HDBaseT Transmitter over CAT5e/6a.
HDBaseT is by far my new favorite long distance solution as I can do 4K at 200ft with no latency or degradation, Not only it's very affordable but it'll do both VESA and computer resolutions.
