Dear All,
I tried to find an answer in this Forum, could not find it.
I have a 10m by 3m (hight) sreen to cover with one picture spanned over the whole screen. The matrox Dual head process is nicely descibed, but the device will not reach in time, so I need your help.
Is it possible that I cut the clips into half plus some pixs for soft edge on each side, use a composition of 2560 X 800. have screen 1 with one clip ( projector 1) and another screen with the second half (projector 2) , do the soft edging and it works?
I don't have a second projector yet, so I can't try. My thinking is probably too simple may be somebody can help, would be nice. Thanks in advance.

That could work but two 1280x800 won't cover 10Mx3M so you'll have to reduce your comp size in height to accommodate the blend area. My recommendation would be at least a 10% blend area which means each comp would be 1280x730 with a 128px blend area and your total image size would be 2432x730.

if you have the 2 spare outputs where you connect your projectors you don't even need the matrox.
the soft edging works with any output your computer recognizes.

Are you on a Mac or PC? What are the specs of your computer?
