Find out which clip is most resource intensive?

Sometimes I get into a VJing frenzy, and since my machine isn't the newest, my FPS drop to about 10-15. It kinda starts being about directing a slideshow.

Usually, it's because I enabled a clip which has some kind of effect (or a barrage of them), or is too high resolution - which works fine as long as I've got one or two layers playing, but crawls otherwise.

Is there an easy way to find out which clip is most resource intensive so that I can adjust it or remove it? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there's no indicator for which clips or effects are using the most resources.

I usually just keep an eye on my fps meter. When a layer is faded out, it does not render. So any content or effects playing in that layer are not rendered and do not use up any resources.

If fading in a certain layer, brings down the fps by a disproportionate amount, it's usually a clear indication something is not right with that clip or effect stack.
