[fixed] sudden \'artifacts\' on Video playback

I made a new thread for this one because It just HIT me out of no-where and I'm in a sudden panick. 
WHen the process resolution is on 640X480 (which is what i'm always using) i have sudden ARTIFACTS on half my videos during playback.
It's okay on 320x240 but this is not good enough my needs.
This problem is on ALL codecs, even on uncompressed !
how the feck does something like this just happen, when everythings been fine for so long ?
