I'd love the ability to create a custom map for layers much like the auto map does. Every layer is the same if you use the auto map feature, but if you want to use a custom map but still have the same profile for every layer, you have to map every single parameter on every single layer.

If we could have a way of saying parameter 1 is channel 1, param 2 is chan 2, param 3 chan 3. Then layer 1 would start at channel 1, layer 2 would automatically start at channel 4, etc etc.

Maybe there's already a way to do this, but I haven't found one.

Resolume 6 is going to have some big changes to shortcuts, including how Comp DMX shortcut mapping will work and how Resolume will interact with DMX controllers in general.

Your idea would fit into those changes nicely.
