Hey guys,

So I got a IP4K, seccessfully installed it on my PC. Now, my problem is it wont show up in Resolume 5. Under sources tab, when I choose Black magic Intenisty Pro 4K. The output is just a black screen.

I have my laptop connected to it. Now I want to capture my laptop screen and have it on resolume as an output.

blackmagic hardware is very picky about resolutions, so make sure you connect a supported resolution/framerate to its input, and you then have to manually select that resolution in the blackmagic clips' properties.

what is your output setting on the laptop?

My laptop's resolution is 1366x768 and I've mirrored the display.

Maybe this is the problem.. Blackmagic cards can handle video resolutions.. SD formats, 720p, 1080i and p, etc.. No computer resolutions.. All supported resolutions are written in BMD Intensity tech specs..

that's your problem,
set the resolution to 1280x720, and check the refresh rate-should be 60fps by default.
then setting the input in resolume to 720p 60 should give you an image.

I just replaced the laptop with another PC. So im using another PC as an input.

Now I've set the resolution and refresh rate to 1280x720-60hz. The screen is being captured in the Media Express software but still no iamge in resolume. Comp size is 1280x720.

Is resolution in Resolume sources in 720p60?

ok, that's good progress.
close the media express, then start arena - only one of them will be able to use the input.
What are the blackmagic clips settings in resolume?
you may have to choose the correct input too.
