License, do I need 1 or 2 ?

Hi good people at Resolume, I've been lurking around the forums for quite some time. I'm a motion graphics designer (also weekend DJ) that increasingly been involved with live visuals. Both pre-production and live performance.

My setup is an iMac at the office (last batch before the 5k model, i7 cpu, forgot the hz, 32gb ram, 2GB Nivdia video), and a macbook pro Retina 15" for gigs, (2,7ghz i7, 16gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB). Bunch of midi controllers & and a matrox tipplehead2go, if I ever need more than 1 projector (not very often)...

So my question is: Could I run 1 license to prepare my compositions on the iMac, then transfer the software license to the macbook pro when ready to go to the gig? Or would I need 2 licenses?

I do own a madmapper license, but would still prefer the Arena version, as the new mapping features looks very tempting. So I'm weighing my options here, I guess my choices are:

1. Cheap option: 1 license of Avenue. (keep MadMapper for any mapping purposes)
2. Medium option: 1 license of Arena. (do both prep work and live performance on the same macbook)
3. Premium option: 1 license of Arena & 1 license of Avenue. (prep on the iMac, live performance on the macbook, but no mapping work or other fancy Arena features on the iMac.
4. Highend option: 2 licenses of Arena (have all features ready on both machines, and the added bonus of 2 setups if ever needed)

I'm hoping to go with Option 2, one license of Arena. As i do have a hard time justifying the higer cost of more licenses. Would I be able to transfer the license back and forth as need between prepare sessions and live performance gigs?

Appreciate any insight.
Thanks, Warp

you can transfer the license easily,
but you don't need a license to prepare your composition, the only limitation of the demo is a robot voice, and a logo overlay,
saving, mapping and all functions work the same as on a registered Arena.
