DXV codec question

Hi,

i'm working on some new visuals in Premiere and I'm running into some new problems as well...
when I export my footage using the DXV3 codec the images get lots of jittering lines and artefacts, while a h264 export with similar settings works fine. Click to enlarge the attachments !
What am I missing?
Thanks :)

I made a DXV file from your fist screenshot in premiere and I see no artefacts.
how come the 3 shots are different perspective?
what are your project and codec settings?

Yes the perspectives are due to different time frames, a bit sloppy from me ;)
But do you see the artefacts on the jpg of my dxv export?
For the project and export settings I followed http://resolume.com/manual/en/r4/dxv#ex ... v_encoding and I tried different settings such as 'maximum depth", etc, but I still end up with the artefacts..

do you get the same results when you convert your h264 file or a lossless render to dxv?
But do you see the artefacts on the jpg of my dxv export?
yes I can see them
you are running everything progressive right?

Just from the attachments it looks an alpha matting problem. Are you previewing the files in resolume or quicktime player? Quicktime player will not show alpha properly for transparent DXVs.

Yes everything progressive :)

And when I render to h264 and then to dxv the result is excellent, no artefacts at all.
So I guess I should first render everything down to another filetype before going DXV? What would be the best lossless option for that?

these previews were made in Adobe Premiere but the result is the same in Resolume. I have tried exporting with and without the alpha channel.
