Building a new computer vs buying prebuilt

I am planning on getting a new computer sometime in the next year. I want to build something sturdy and robust that I can use for VJ'ing, as well creating content in Cinema 4d and After Effects.
The question is, does anyone know of a place that I can build a computer from the ground up, but that offers financing.
If not, does anyone have any recommendations on compact desktop that would run flawlessly (I generally run at least 5 layers of content at a time, right now all at 720, but I want to start running full 1080p)
