Not sure if this has been discussed but would be cool feature to be able to change a clip on a layer that's playing form a different deck instead of navigating back to that deck and changing.

When switching decks, all content, aside from any clips currently playing in a layer, is purged from memory. So as far as Resolume is concerned, content in other decks does not exist. There is no way to trigger it, nor will there ever be.

I'm assuming what you want is not really having access to all the clips in your comp, but just having access to a particular set of clips throughout all your decks.

We have been throwing the idea around of having 'floating' / 'persistent' / 'fixed' layers, that do not get purged when switching decks. So for instance, setting layer 8 to fixed, will keep that layer visible in all decks you switch to.

Perhaps that is a solution to your issue?

You could also have an option to keep all decks loaded if you have enough ram for a future x64bit version.
