Pre-viz using Resolume Arena

I'm working on a small project to help out a friend with a fashion show and the team is mostly meeting virtually so we needed some visual support to get everyone on the same page. I typically use Arena to do quick pre-viz renders so I thought I would share this with the forum as I don't think it's a common use for Resolume Arena.

Here is a quick description of the process you see in the video:
  • - The quick 3D model was made on Sketchup 2016.
    - The virtual mapping was done on Arena 5.
    - The screen recording for the how-to was done using Quicktime on a Mac.
    - The end product is recorded using Open Broadcast Software on a Mac
    ---------
    - I took a screenshot of the model in PNG that I made in Sketchup and imported it in a layer which I triggered and turned to Blind
    - Imported a sample of the artwork in another layer. As a note, I gave the filmmakers the comp size including the negative space (4320x1200) and all the artwork is rendered with a black matte in the middle directly in DXV3 high quality
    - I created a virtual screen the size of my comp with three slices
    - Slice 1 is my background with the model layer as a source.
    - Slice 2 is my SR projector & Slice 3 is my SL projector. Note, I'll be using WGXA projectors which are 1280x800 but sending the output as 1920x1200.
    - I mappped sliced 2 & 3 to the screens on the 3D model
    - I created a second screen with the virtual screen as an input to output the pre-viz as a 1920x1080 syphon output so that I could record it using OBS and send it to for review.

This is pretty cool, I didn't give this much thought, but I am happy that there is a solution out there for it...thanks quite detailed.
