I'm wondering if it is possible to control clip playback speed with FFT? Obviously it would have do it incrementally, as in moving forward a bit each time there is a beat..

This is one of those things that we'd love to do, but never find the time for. There's always something more critical that requires attention

That's good to know. I've been using Soundkeys in AE to pre-render clips that are played back this way, but having it directly in Resolume surely would be killer!

I have a workaround for you,

here is a short video on how to use fft for parameters in resolume which don't have FFT yet,
you'd need to change the OSC address in the plugin to
/layer1/clip2/video/position/speed
leave the FFT on '>'
and have the clip unpaused

Unfortunately, the IR OSC plugins don't work in Resolume 6.

Will you be adding this function natively at some point?

At some point, yes. Right now we are focusing on making all the dozens of new features that we've added to Resolume 6 as stable as possible.

Any news on this situation?

the IrOSC sa plugins have a 64bit build, which works with Resolume 6
