Blend mode Issue

Okay so basically in my output monitor I can see the 50 mask blend mode working perfectly but on my LED wall it is stuck in what looks like alpha mode. Tried using other blend modes like Tile and nothing. The disable global effects and blend modes is unchecked so I know that is not it. Please help!

Maybe post a screenshot of your output settings, regarding the LED wall?

maybe you have that layer routed to a slice, in which case the blend modes wouldn't be applied to it?

We have two different LED walls linked to one resolume computer. One wall has two layers associated and the main wall has 3. Each individual layer is mapped to its designated wall. I am thinking this may be part of the issue because when I re-mapped the layers to the whole composition then the blend modes started to work again if that makes sense.

I just realized that all layers are sliced. There has to be a way to use the blend modes even though they are all sliced??

blending is done in the composition.
how does your output map look like?
if it's rectangles then you should do the resizing on clip/layer level and have the blending available

This is precisely the reason why I harp on so much that using layer to slice routing to position content is not a good workflow. It's great for a few select use-cases, but most of the time, you end up painting yourself into a corner.

Here is a chapter in our manual that explains how you can position and scale content in the composition: https://resolume.com/manual/en/r5/led_screens
