Wonky blending voodoo bug?

So, here's my issue- setting up a museum install of two projectors
with tons of warping and a blend.

Great forever, but now... it's fine in the advanced output
window and running in Resolume 5.04... however...

...Once I RESTART to run in advanced output automatically,
there's a sharp edge on the blend. UNTIL I click on OUTPUT/ADVANCED/
in the menu. Then it goes back to looking great again (see image)

What the heck IS this? I can't actually FIX it because, of course, it's
only there when I'm NOT in the advanced output window. But it comes
back every restart.

?????????????

Is this a bug, squashed by 5.1 as shown below?

- Softedge is applied on disabled slices
- SoftEdge textures dont get updated when slice is moved through params.
- DMX automap default value for Master Speed is off by 1
- Soft edge has a black line.

We did a lot of work on soft-edging, so I'd definitely update to 5.1.2!

Would be great if you could confirm if we squashed this one.

I'm checking tomorrow afternoon- will let you know...

Know what I'd reaaaaaaaalllllllly like?

If the soft edge let you pick which edge it is :-/

I've had it flip sides on me when I'm mapping and have to flip it back.

This automatic stuff gets a little funky sometimes.

So... Upgrade to 5.12 did NOT fix the issue.

I had to toss the slice and rebuild it (more than an hour of warping and masking)

Seems the slice got corrupted and that was that.

Also, is there any way to trigger "advanced output" through OSC.

Would really have helped on this install...

Crap. Sorry that we wasted an hour of your life, George. Hopefully we even out the cosmic balance with some the stuff we made easier and saved you time on!

Did you save the output preset with the corrupted slice? We'd love to take a look at it.
