Composition opacity not affecting output

I'm experiencing an issue with controlling my composition's opacity on the output display. I had recently tweaked by MIDI assignments and somewhere along the line, this issue arose. I have a fader assigned to overall composition opacity. Inside of Resolume's deck in the "Output Monitor" preview, my fader works correctly, but it doesn't affect my actual output. This symptom is present on both my second monitor and projector. I tried switching between the "Fade Out" slider in the composition's transform menu and the master opacity slider with the same result in both. I use a 5-layer layout and they all behave the same way in relation to the master opacity (no effect on output). I feel like I somehow bypassed composition controls, but I can't seem to locate a solution.

Thanks in advance for your time!

my first guess is that you have your slices in advanced output set to get their input from layers.

As far as I know, I'm not utilizing the advanced output- at least, not intentionally. I use a single output as fullscreen display 1. I know I have opened the advanced setting in order to look at it, but didn't think I had applied any changes. Is there a way to reset/delete any slice settings that may have been accidentally applied?

Edit: Although it requires going through Advanced Output, configuring those settings to my needs and using it as my output option- instead of the Fullscreen option- allowed me to resolve the issue. This was a successful workaround and I sincerely thank ravensc for his help in this matter.

The question does still remain for me- why is this now required in order for my output to accomplish Resolume's previous behavior? Any other ideas on what I could have done to prevent the composition's power over my output?

You can reset any settings in the advanced output by creating a new configuration from the dropdown on the top left corner.

Having the output set to full screen should give you exactly the same image as you see in the output preview.

There is an update you can download (4.6.2), maybe there was an issue like this in 4.6.0, have you updated recently?

I have not downloaded the new update. I'll give it a go and report back to see if that solves the issue. Thank you so much for your time and patience!

Edit: Updating to 4.6.2 resolved issue. Thanks again!
