Hey everyone! Have you guys tried doing 12 outputs of 1920x1080 off of a single machine?

We're setting up some tests next week to try it for ourselves but just curious if anyone has tried before.

Going to try 3x 4K HDMI as well as multiple BlackMagic SDI outputs to see how they stack up. Thanks!

Hey everyone -

I wanted to share that we have been running tests on our machines in office with these 12 channels of SDI output.

We didn't have a ton of luck with the BlackMagic Duo 2 cards, so we resorted to using 3x 4K HDMI outputs off of a GTX1080, which has proven well. We send out the 4K HDMI and split it into quad-SDI using 4K HDMI to SDI converters.

Pictured below is a brief pic of our setup. I'll have more info before long once we get through the show itself.

Thanks!

That's pretty awesome, gives a different way of doing things, are there any issues with frame rate conversion or resolution issues when going from the 4K to quad SDI, and this is 4 x 3G-SDI correct ?
