Mapping Native Instruments D2 NEWBIE Questions.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to resolume here,I have a few questions.
Basically I'm a sound and light tech here in Nelson BC. My background is in sound so doing visuals and lights is quite new. I've found myself doing it quite a bit and would like to take it to the next level here.
I have 2x Native instruments Kontrol D2 and would like to map them to control resolume at least one of them anyways.
They have 8 pads 4 faders, 4 encoders and 4 endless encoders. etc.
What I want to do is have a composition with 8 layers 4 coloums. Id like a way to scroll through my layers in banks of 4. Right now I can launch each clip regularly with the corresponding pad then push shift and launch the next 2 therefor having control over 4 layers. is there anyway to move throughout a project in groups of layers similar to how you would in ableton? Any pointers on how to map this to create a work flow would help as I'm pretty new to resolume and theres not many people here I can ask for help just reaching out if theres anyone willing to help point me in the right mapping direction.
Thanks in advance,
M
