Rekordbox 4.3.0 Syphon out

Just wondering if anyone has tried successfully the new syphon out from rekordbox video software into resolume.
I'm on a 30-day trial for rekordbox video using windows 10. Sypon is as far I understand a MAC thing and Spout is the equivalent for windows, and i've installed that plugin into resolume, however it's not picking up anything from Rekordbox.
1) Anyone tried this on Windows?
2) Is Spout/Syphon using same protocol (or whatever it's called) and should work the same or does Rekordbox need to support Spout specifically in addition to Syphon?

Yes Spout is for Windows and Syphon for Mac.
So, if you're using Rekordbox for windows, you'll be using Spout not Syphon, but based on my quick research, it looks like Rekordbox only offers Syphon on the Mac version.
So if you want to use that, I'd recommend checking
http://techlife.sg/TCPSyphon/ and doing Syphon>NDI from your Mac and NDI>Spout to receive on you PC>.

Spout and syphon are In-Computer texture sharers.
To send a texture from a mac to a pc you need additionally tcpSyphon server on the mac, and tcpSpout client on the pc.
here is some more info:

Yeah was afraid of that.
I have no MAC so this will then not be possible for me at this point.
So hopefully Pioneer starts supporting it on Windows soon.
Thanks for the reply Oaktown.

on the same topic; has anyone tried out Syphon Out from Rekordbox on MAC and been able to pick up the video signal in Resolume?

Just tested and it works great!
The video lag in the sample is due to the QT screen capture but without it it's super fluid.
