Edge blending on polygons

Hi there,
I am trying to use resolume arena for my next mapping show using two projectors.
I have created two screens with two slices using soft edge. I have no problem in blending the two slices.
The structure I am going to map is complex using a lot of shapes.
What I am trying to do is to create polygons in the input and map the structure in the output.
The problem comes when the polygons overlap between two screens, it seems I cannot blend two polygons.
How could I solve this problem in create overlapping polygons and blend them?

how about blending regular rectangle slices then masking them to polygon shape?
you can do the masking in the advanced output.

Depending on your structure, you can also use virtual screens to do the blending.

Create a virtual screen at the resolution of your two projectors combined. On your two 'regular' screens, blend the left half and right half of this virtual screen. You do this by switching the input of each slice from Composition to the virtual screen and then doing a blend like you normally would.

After the blend is done, you can use all the polygons, masking and slices you want in the virtual screen to align your objects. The virtual screen takes care of the blend, so you can easily move your slices back and forth or even place them halfway across.

Note that this only works if your objects are all on the same focal plane of the projectors. When there is a lot of difference in depth between each object, you're going to have a bad time using this technique. You'll generally have a bad time getting a good blend when your objects are on different focal planes.

Thank you for replay. Yes the structure is made of many polygons with a lot of difference in depth. I was trying to use Nvidia Mosaic as I am using a K1200 quadro in order to create one big screen however, every time I try to setup Mosaic my pc restarts and I get not signal to the projectors.
Is there a way to edge blend on structure with polygons with different depth?

Edge blending at different depths is problematic because of the way light works. Objects closer to the projectors will have less overlap than objects further away from the projectors. It's very difficult to adjust for this, either in software or hardware.

Your best bet is to place your projectors in such a way that every object is completely covered by at least one projector. Then you don't have to any blending or mosaicing at all. You can just align each surface on the projector that covers it, and leave it out on the other projector.
