Are there any plans to make resolume work with multiple sound inputs soon?

See also this post: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14191&p=58745#p58745. But this post didn't answer my question.
So, what I mean is that u can select from multiple physically isolated sources (like, the separate inputs on an interface or mixing table sent to your pc through usb) and put different filters on each one to make the video reactive to a live performance. Now the sound is "cluttered", all instruments must be mixed on the mixing table, and u get a master out for example: it is impossible to filter out e.g. the bass, only the vocals, only the kick drum, etc. You can try, but it's nearly impossible. Especially if u work live, and every version of the song is slightly different each time.
If not possible with resolume, which other software does this? Ableton? ...
