Hi all,

Recently purchased a Dell XPS 15" laptop.
GTX 1050 GPU
1TB SSD
32GB Ram
i7 7700HQ 2.8ghz

When I run Arena 5.1.3/4 on the on integrated graphics, its fine. However, when I run on the 1050, it crashes 90% of the time on start up.

Any ideas? I have played with a few GPU settings, but no luck.

Did you hardcode your 3d settings in nvidia control panel to have arena (total war) set to the nvidia card? What was your method for making the gpu swap?

I'm running the 1060's just fine. So i'm trying to see if I can recreate the issue you're having.

What version of windows are you running?

If you clear your preferences and load a blank composition, does it still crash?

To set the card, I just chose it the 1050 as default in the nvidia control panel.
Windows 10, fully up to date.
It often wont even get to the point of loading a composition. However issue is apparent across all comps I load.

If you are experiencing crashes, it's best to contact us via the feedback tab of the preferences. Then we can take a look at the log file and take it from there.

It´s the same GPU, right?

Do you think there is an incompatibility between the GPU1050 and the resolume?

10 series nvidia cards work fine with Resolume. I would get the best or ultimate option on that particular laptop, a bigger m.2 ssd makes for faster file loading.
