Drop Shadow FPS drop

Almost same composition in R5 and R6.

6 layers of mixing, 3 layers for logos/messages all bypassed. 4 layers of overlay routing, all bypassed and routed to slices in output using slice transform with advanced output. (composition and output preset attached, missing clips would be your favorite test clips).

In R5 I get a steady 59-60fps on a 2k output with a 1080p control monitor when I use drop shadow on the layer routing clips and have all layers loaded.

In R6 fps drops to 30 with the same 2k output and 1080p control and all layers with layer routers loaded.

I tried your composition,
On my macbook pro, both 4k compositions, only 2 layers playing
on R6 I get 26 fps with the Avion png resized to 4k, playing in a 4k layer, drop shadow effect clip routed from this layer, on R5 I get 7 fps, so in my case there is much improvement.
If I set the Video router's size to 1920x1080, as the files are this size anyways, and I place the drop shadow before transform on the router clip, then use clip transform to scale the video router up by 200% I get the same size and probably near same quality output but with much higher frame rate. (40fps)
Then setting the logo layer and clip also to 1920x1080 and scaling with layer transform to 200% actually costs me 2-3 fps.

What kind of video card are you using?
