Hello,
Does Resolume Arena 5 or 6 with BMD PCI DeckLink Mini Monitor out allow you to monitor out so I can capture with another computer?

To clarify: Im trying to record out as my internal & syphon recordings are dropping frames.
Im working with 720P 30fps clips. BMD PCI DeckLink Monitor SDI out to a laptop with a BMD Thunderbolt DeckLink Recorder. Any tips or suggestions to achieve good recordings / captures to re-import finished clips?

Thank you!

Jon

Yes, and it works great assuming that your other computer has a drive fast enough to record the format you’ve chosen. To make sure that you’re not going to drop frames, use the blackmagic speedtest to check your drive first.

If you wanted to skip the second computer altogether, another great solution is to use an Atomis Ninja 2 With a solid state drive.

Thank you! Just wanted to make sure this product(s) BMD works with Resolume. Those external Atomos capture boxes are nice. I see the affordable ones are HDMI only, and the SDI start to get expensive. I may opt for the SDI option but will hold off for now and do with what I have. Thanks for the feedback!
