in Beta 2 of Arena 6 even if I setup a smpte in in audio preferences I cannot assign smpte to clips in transport, only timeline and BPM sync...

there is a ticket for this #9627

The quick solution until it this fixed is to switch the clip transport once, then the SMPTE options will be there.
