I noticed if I have a clip playing in a different deck and load a clip somewhere in the same layer then it stops playback unless the layer is locked.

also if i have a clip playing and i switch decks it pastes in that clip in the same location on the other deck.


im sure the team has their plates full but wanted to say you all are doing a great job on the release!

how do you load the new clip? Files panel or an other program/windows?
We have a ticket where dropping a file from an external file manager ejects the playing clip in a layer.

This is a new one, could you explain that in detail how this happens?

are those decks where this happens and the clip duplicates?

If a clip is playing and I switch decks, 90% of the time it replaces that clip in the new deck with the current running clip in that layer

Could you upload your composition?
I can recreate something which looks similar, to what happens in your video, when I duplicate a deck full of clips, then in the new deck I replace the video track of the clips. Is this how you created your decks?

When I set up my composition I duplicated the decks instead of adding new deck just fyi.

my other composition doesn't seem to have this issue and I think it is because I didnt not copy the decks, instead I created new decks then dropped in my clips
