controller - stopping a clip by re-pressing it

Hello everyone,
I'm working on an interactive AV installation for a music festival. People will use an Akai lpd8 to choose between 4 drums loop and 4 bass loops. I would like the visitor to be able to stop one or both of the layers by simply re-pressing
on the clip that is currently playing, instead of using one pad to trigger an empty clip.
The users will only have controllers in front of them so I wanna make it as intuitive as possible, that's why the re-pressing would be ideal

also, I've been looking into having all clips constantly playing and just unmute them once they're selected, so the user won't have to wait for the "beat snap" making it more reactive and intuitive.

thank you :)

Set your timelines to BPM and then you can control the master BPM by pressing/releasing the Pause button. I believe the function to "wait for beat snap" can be disabled in preferences
