Audio Sync (external source) and audio transition?

Hi there,
i'm a newby so forgive me if i'm asking a dumb question..
If i take a .wav file and drop it into the composition as a clip, i can adjust a visual effect to react to "Audio-composition" and it will work perfectly. Now i am trying to set Spotify as an External audio source trough Virtual Audio Cable and Audio Router (3rd part softwares). It seems to work but non so good.
Is it always better to work with audio clips directly into the composition? And in case HOW can i make a transition between the clips?
Ex: audio clip 1 start to fade out at 5 seconds from the end, and audio clip 2 start to fade in, like a video clip would do with the transision tab on the left.

Sorry about my poor english, and thanks for your kindness :)

Alex

Hi Alex, make sure in View menu that is turned on Show Layers Transition Controls.
You can simply move the slider to adjust the time transition between the two clips (audio only clips works too).
You can use autopilot to jump from one clip to the next, too.

About feeding the fft, I don't know Virtual Audio Cable and Audio Router, by judging by his names seems to be a solution. Whats do you means when says is non so good?
Another way if you're over windows is using the stereo mix as source. When you set your input use to be there an option called stereomix or something like that (don't know your language, Grabar Reproducción for spanish). But maybe that's related to your soundcard and why you're using a third party app.
On mac, you can check out Soundflower for audio routing (from one app to another).
