Running Resolume Arena 5.1.4 on 64 bits Windows 10 and Nvidia graphics card.
Problem: when running example clip without quicktime installed memory will keep increasing until program crashes. The problem increases for every instance of the clip you play for example if you play same clip om multiple layers.
When quicktime player is installed memory and playback is stable and normal.
Here is an example clip to reproduce the problem.

Without quicktime you lose the audio track of DXV clips, as they are decoded by quicktime,
so why would you want to uninstall quicktime?

We never play sound from Resolume if we need sound we play that from CasparCG. I don't really care if I have QuickTime installed the problem is I just came home from a gig last week where Resolume was crashing from this memory leak bug after about one to one and a half hour of uptime. When testing at home after the event I noticed that the problem disappear when I install quicktime.
Didn't know Resolume hooked into quicktime if it is installed until I came home and saw the "Initialize quicktime" in the logs. Also noticed installing quicktime allows for ProRes playback.
If having quicktime installed is the preferred method maybe that should be advertised/recommended on the website or in the program? Also I don't have access to the version 6 beta so can't test if I have the same problem unless you can send a download link in PM or something. The people that I do events for provides the license for me.

Thanks for reporting and testing this!
I created a ticket, because Resolume shouldn't crash.
I don't know when this can be fixed though, so in the meantime having quicktime installed solves this issue.

Can't reproduce the error in 6.0.0 with the problematic files that crashed 5.1.4
