Media manager not working

I am working on a show with someone in Paris and we’re exchanging files using the new Dropbox platform. When I try to reconnect clips in Media manager, Resolume hangs and nothing happens.
If instead, I click on the clip to find the missing asset (similar to R5), instead of asking me to find the file, it asks me First to save the comp then I allows me to look for the file but it hangs as well.
I ended up having to reload the show one clip at a time by dropping them in the composition.
This is on a W10 creators edition server.
I tried later on a Mac and got the same issue but repopulating the comp worked in 5.1.4.

so you are trying to reconnect files in a R5 composition, opened but not saved in R6, correct?

Tried to reloacate a R5 composition and media manager asked me to save though the menu and also clicking the relocate button on the clip.
Media manager found my files with relocate all.

how is this set up exactly?
Does the dropbox folder exist under a symlink, or do you select it directly?
Does the relocation work with resolume 5 through this dropbox platform?

Using Dropbox Smart Sync:
https://www.dropbox.com/smartsync and the master folder we’re working with is available locally on all the computers I’m using for this project.
Relocation worked fine on my MBP using Arena 5 but I didn’t have R5 installed in my main server so I wasn’t able to test.

I had a look at the dropbox smart sync introduction video, and it looks like, the files only get available locally when you sync them/make them local, but I guess you did that.
Can you relocate the files if you move/copy them out of the dropbox folder?
If so, Is the Dropbox folder containing the files a regular folder?

Oaktown, post your comp or log. I bet this is same issue that ticket #10063.
I've experienced booth things, and guess if issues have same origin.
What dou you think Zoltan?

I'm not so sure, in ticket #10063 media manager works fine.
How did media manager hang for you, in what kind of folder?
edit: I tried to recreate this situation between mac and pc, and footage in dropbox. I don't have smartsync, but when I let dropbox sync the files, I have no issues reconnecting a R5 composition in R6. Any clues are welcome.

Unfortunately, I won’t have access to that media server for the next week or so as it’s being shipped across the US.
Zoltan, can I share the DRopbox folder with the original R5 comp with you directly so that you can try to replicate the problem in R6?

Zoltan, my think was aside media manager. I just make my bet based on this two common facts:
-comp from 5 loaded on 6
-hang when dealing with disconected clips
Of course, I don't even know how those processes are carried on.
