PLEASE HELP !!! Stutters

Hello,
I'm in a middle of a setup for a show and my new PC is nothing but troubles...

The system
Windows CU and FCU (tried both)
i7 8700K
MB Asus TUF z370 Gaming PRO
32GB RAM
nvidia 1080
1Samsung EVO PRO for OS and 1 for CLIPS
Arena 5.1.4

Composition is 8300 x 1500 and I have to play 3 files 1 2816x1408 and 2 2688x924 encoded in DXV 3 normal quality.

The outputs are 2 FHD 50Hz on Display Ports and 1 UHD 25HZ to a Datapath x4

Everything is terribly and randomly stutter!
I cannot play any clip without severe hiccups.

On PC side everything is OK, GPU is around 40% and CPU about 7-10%

I tried with and without VSync and I have high fps in Arena (about 110) without VSync and Steady 25 with.

Even 1 single clip is stuttering. Even with only Datapath connected.

Last year I worked perfectly with 4K and same Datapath on a i7 3770 and a GeForce 970.....

Please HELP!!!!

Thank you

Stefano

Try adjusting audio buffer size in preferences, maybe that helps.

Tried already, nothing to do...
I start thinking about issues with z370 and 8700k...
Anyone with this setup?

Thank you

Stefano

Did you get the windows 10 creators update installed recently?
It could be worth rolling back the nvidia driver.

tried last 3 versions of windows and different drivers versions with no luck.
could the different rate of outputs (1x25 and 2x50) be the problem? with actual machine even only 4k dvi output is unreliable and stuttering, with another machine (6800k) 4k is ok , but as soon as i connect the other 2 outputs on display port is a mess.....

Do these files play fine when you resize the composition to fit the largest file?
If so, you maybe could use layer to slice routing in Advanced output, if it's simple playback what you need.

How about disk utilization, maybe the stutters come from a slow disk read?

tomorrow i will try with slice routing....
the system is doing fundamentally.. nothing.... cpu is about 10% disk is 0 and gpu is about 40%

A few questions:
- Are you using R5 or R6?
- Have you tried the same setup with ProRes files?
- What about DXV3 high quality?
- What software/settings did you use to render your videos?
- Are you experiencing the stutters in the Resolume preview?

No, all Dxv3 normal quality, Im on windows so i cannot create prores from after effects

after effects, i don't know exact settings, but they always worked in other projects
- Are you experiencing the stutters in the Resolume preview?
