From 5.1.4 to 6.0.1 deck problem

Hi,
I load a old 5 resolume composition in 6.0.1
when I go in various decks, without thumbnail, the program blocked the computer

I have to do update of every deck, sometimes the 6.0.1 crash, I saved all for several times, so when all the thumbnails are created it works!

There is not a crash... it only freeze the program when It create thumbnails, sometimes with the video in the HDD sometimes in HDD (ssd usb3) ... with resolute 5.1.4 I never has this problem.
so i Force the exit of Arena
it freeze my macbook pro with 10.13.1
for several minutes (2)
then the computer works
So I start resolume... create some thumbnails from other decks, save the composition and for some decks it freeze.
Strange?

The default thumbnails are not stored o the composition, there is a separate folder for that, so saving doesn't help with that.
What kind of files are you using? All DXV?
Which decks freeze?

I try to search the folder where are the thumbnails.
The video are motion jpeg codec, dxv, h264.
There is no particular Deck freeze.
The half Of deck freeze. It appear a small square in the left corner before create the thumbnail and it freeze the program.

Could you wait a few minutes (1-5 ) to see if the freeze is actually permanent?
This way we could find out if resolume hangs, or if it is just very slow here.

When it freezes it freezes Aldo the computer clock...
It stops the seconds in the clock.
Next time resolume freezes I try wait dome minutes

Are your HDD-s alright?
Sounds like when the HDD-s are trying to re-read a bad sector.
Can you play all the media in R5 properly, from the start to the end?
Do other programs respond properly during this freeze?
