Im running multiple system and I seem to have this same issue on every one...

for some reason if i lose projector signal, if a power cable comes out or projecort just gets turned off for what every reason all the out puts get reordered..

for example.. even though windows says I have screen 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 -5 -6 resolume calls them screen 1-4-5-6-7-8 (for example)..

Main screen is screen 1... so I assign the projectors in the order that I see them on the walls.. and for some odd reason that ends up being something like 4-8-7-5-6 (for example)...

real word the last screen lost power screen 6, now the projectors look all out of sequence and the order now is 1-8-6-4-5

anyone know why they screens go out of order? it would be great if the one just went black and the others stayed on... is this caused by windows?

Get one of these Gefen Detective inline for every output and set the EDID to the match your projectors. Note that they also have DVI and DisplayPort models.
