Arena 6 DMX clip select stops functioning

I am having an issue with triggering a clip from dmx. It seems to work for a little bit but it will then stop working. I also noticed that if the dmx signal attempts to trigger a clip that doesn't exist the same thing happens and I will be unable to trigger any more clips via dmx. The other DMX controlled parameters will still work but the clip select wont. I am running Arena 6.0.1
Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

Could you please describe how you mapped DMX exactly, so we can recreate this issue?
And/or attach your DMX preset(zipped).

I have attached the DMX Preset.
I mapped the "Connect Specific Clip" parameter to a DMX address, in this case layer 1 used address 35. When I send the value from my light board the clip does not always trigger. Also if I trigger a clip that doesn't exist I would expect that layer to stop playing the currently active clip, however this does not happen. Using the DMX monitor in the Resolume preferences I can watch the DMX values changing as I expect them to, but the changes are not reflected on the layer. Other parameters that I have mapped seem to work fine.

I will also mention that I am running on Mac, I will try on PC soon and see if I have the issue there as well.

I will add that it doesn't completely stop functioning, but it is very random as to when it works.

I've run into this. If you use the value of a channel to choose along a layer and jump around it sometimes doesn't work. Was told it's a ticket right now I believe. Normally if you count up its fine it's just when you go back to a lower value it doesn't work until the dmx value goes up and then goes jumps back again.

Looking at your DMX map this will be the same issue as Drazkers describes, and we indeed have a ticket for this, and we are working on it.

Thank you for the help. I will find a work around or revert to version 5 until this issue is patched. I look forward to seeing this in an update.

Adding nothing to the thread, other than that I do also have this problem with R6.
Will my R6 key work on an R5 install?

I do not believe so.
The dmx function works if your using a cue stack that slowly counts up. So if your going through a show it does work. Its just when you jump baack in the cue stack or fixture value. I don't know if that info helps.
