I get the same problem, with an ati 9800, worked great and just stopped working. I rebuilt my computer hoping this would correct it, and still won't work. I can't figure out why I can change screen settings

check some other threads, for more info, but missing or incorrectly installed audiodrivers could cause this problem (we have fixed this already and will be no problem anymore for the next release.

It could also be cirus cranner that is causing the crash: http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=1611

I'm also now having problems with version 2.2 crashing when I try to enable dual output. You point to the audio drivers, can anyone advise how to check whether it's due to missing/incorrectly installed audio drivers. If it is, what can I do about it? Any help much appreciated as due to play in a couple of days...

I have the solution to this problem, i discovered it by accident, i had a gig and the day after i couldn't get my resolume 2.2 to work.. when i realized that version 1.5 worked fine i started mixing some files between folders (2.2 & 1.5) i found out that when i deleted the folder "decks" the program crashed, but with an error window i had never seen before.. don't ask me why, but somehow it ocurred to me that if i had that error window active when hitting the "apply" button in screen configuration something could happen.. so i tried.. i deleted the "decks" out of the resolume 2.0 folder.. i opened it, tried to load a movie.. error window.. closed the program but kept that helpful error window.. opened resolume 2.2 (with 2.0's error still active) and tried to apply the second monitor fullscreen mode.. it worked!
perhaps some resolume tech support guy can explain this, but it's kinda crazy that an error strikes out a different one.. try it, perhaps it works for you to ;)

Pardon my english (i'm from argentina :D)

you must see the first monitor in preview mode and the 2nd monitor in fullscreen mode.
In both monitor´s configuration windows must apear the name of your video card...

(I´m sorry from my english, it´s so bad... i´m from spain)
