Sync to Current DMX values

Is there a way to sync arena 6 to the current DMX values? When programming a show, or on boot up I find that since Resolume only changes parameters when a DMX value changes it is easy for a light board and Resolume to get out of sync. Is there a way to force resoume to do a one time ry-sync to current DMX values? Previously I have always written a couple cues in the light board that will change very parameter and I would run these cues when I need to sync the systems, but this has always seemed like a very tedious way to work around the issue. I am currently running Arena 6.
Thanks,

Looking at the Art-net specifications, the console should send unchanged data at a maximum of 4 seconds intervals.
These re-transmits should get Resolume in sync.
In Resolume 6 you can see the incoming DMX , going to Preferences,/DMX tab, you'll see a small button on the top right corner of the preferences window, click it, and you can select universe and subnet to see the incoming data.
How are you sending Artnet to Resolume?

In my setup I have a ETC lighting console sending artnet to Resolume. The console sends unchanged artnet values at a rate of 2 packets/second. The DMX monitor in Resolume reflects this and shows that it is receiving data at the same rate, however the parameters don't take effect until the dmx data changes. For example when I start up Resolume if the Layer 1 Mater level is at full in resolume but the artnet data mapped to that parameter is at 0 the intensity will stay at full until such time the light board changes the value away from 0.
I have been having this issue going back to when I started using resolume on version 4.

I just did some testing on my end and I have the same issue. I see the value in the DMX panel but Arena won't line up with the Artnet signal until there is a change of value on the channel regardless of what that value is. A 1 DMX increment or ~0.39% change does the trick.

Interesting, that this never came up since Resolume 4.
I'm also suspecting a bit that this could be a 'feature', so you can take over in Resolume manually.

As a note, I just tested with Madmapper and I'm getting the same behavior.

Yeah, I 'm actually curious to know the actual application.

Such as a "force" refresh to line up all channels to current values.
In the meantime, maybe programming two macros could be the solution. One that bumps any channel with a DMX value between 0-127 up one increment and returns the original value and the other that bumps any channel with a DMX value between 128-255 down one increment and returns the original value both in a two-packet count.

Yeah, I mean the current implementation could be designed this way on purpose.

Gotcha! Then I think we're on the same page and a force refresh button would do the trick without having to worry about the existing build.
Even better if you had the ability to map that button to a DMX channel and program a macro on the lighting desk to "force refresh" Arena.

Yes I have always assumed it was deigned that way intentionally. A force refresh button is really what I was hoping to find.

I agree being able to force a refresh from the light board would be awesome.
