Im using Res 6 on a PC specialist Octane 3. It runs perfectly aside from a few weird bugs.

1) I use the Korg nanokontrol studio. After using it for a while the resolume GUI just freezes. Resolume itself doesnt hang up. I am able to run visuals and do everything but everything on the screen like the transport bar and my video faders freeze, the SMPTE clock also freezes. When I move the mouse again it unfreezes. If the mouse is static is freezes again.

My controller works I can move faders up and down on the layers to switch between clips but on the software itself is stuck. My preview monitor and master output work fine though. I can see the clip thats playing.
I noticed this first when I first tried to map out the controller. Then I restarted arena. After using it for a while it happened again. Ive also tried unplugging the controller while this is frozen. It doesnt help.

2) If I click on a clip name to preview it. The moment I trigger another clip the preview clip disappears. I dont remember anything like this happening on Res 5. What I generally do it keep my live feed clicked on preview so I can always see whats coming through the camera and then when its a good shot I bring up the live feed fader. But now I keep losing the preview every time I trigger another clip.

3) A layer of mine was just randomly getting bypassed. The Bypass button would come on. Maybe thats a MIDI mapping issue. Ill look into that further.

Been using Arena 6 for the past 2 shows now and I've noticed these.

#1 is strange. If you could minimize the setup needed and could give us some steps to recreate that would be awesome!

#2 Yes, seems that the preview is cleared on any type of clip launch, we have a ticket for that.

#3 or it may be a keyboard shortcut. Or you're working on a macbook pro with touchbar and touch the touchbar accidentally when typing and you don't even notice just like I didn't a few times today. My layer master faders kept on setting themselves....

1)Yea I have another show today. I'm going to try it out with another mouse. Wondering if that could be an issue. I'll try recreating it and let you know.

3) I'm on windows. The pc specialist machines. But I'm using an arena 5 composition on arena 6. I've deleted all the old midi mappings. And my bypass was never mapped to anything. But you think because it's a res 5 comp opening on 6 that I'm getting these issues?

My setup is two 1080 outs and I'm capturing the djs serato video feed through NDI and sending it back to the screen.

It kind of starts of slowly where it freezes a little. Then it gets progressively worse as it goes on.

Do you think its because I'm using an Arena 5 comp?

I'm running my visuals of an external SSD (Samsung T3) but thats never given my any problems before.

Could you recreate the comp natively in 6 and report back?

Ok so I tried a setting up a new comp with 6.0.2

It was running fine for a while but then it started freezing again once I started adding more clips to the deck.

I have the Korg nanokontrol studio, Samsung T3 mouse and a logitech mouse plugged in.

After I close and open Arena again it works fine. It seems like something is causing it to happen over time.
