Footage framerate ?

Hi !

So i'm re editing and composing a lot of footage in After Effects to use in Resolume 6.

The source footage has all kind of frame rates , a lot of webrips in there , but most is 25 fps .
To me , i like to have everything 30fps , i think it makes more sense in 2017 post TV era , and most of the animations we produce are 30fps.
Also taking in account that resolume runs ideally at 60fps , and maybe even because a projector refreshes at 60hz (thinking too far here?) .

But honestly it's just an idea , not based on any sciene. I always heard you should stay the same frame rate as your source footage , but does that make sense in resolume'ing ?

It is not post TV era.
If you are in Europe - encode 25 or better 50 fps.
At some point whrn working with cameras and TV i had to move everything to 50 fps to eliminate flickering.
Also do not forget - 50Hz is base frequency in all you plugs, and any lamp in your location can flicker at this frequency.
