I thought that the midi shortcut where you can specify "This Clip" would continue to be recognized regardless of what deck is active. I am clearly incorrect in v 6.03

Is it possible to specify a midi shortcut to a particular clip regardless of the active deck (and not using persistent clips)?

No, you can't launch clips from other decks currently.
