No Audio in Test Mode

Hi,
I'm trying resolume and the video works about as expected. But, playing .mpg files, there is no sound.

I've clicked on the "Audio" tab under the effects window and I don't see anything going on there. Is there a fullproof set of steps to at least get some sound from the application?

Thanks,

David

Hi Cupcake,
resolume only plays back video not audio.
Resolume can respond to sound and thus adjust fx params and playhead positions. But this audio signal should come from outside of resolume.
prefferably the feed of the dj. ;)

Cheers

Hi Edwin

I'm understanding you to say that when I play a music video in Resolume, I won't be able to hear the sound from that clip? Can that be right?

Please add audio support to Resolume, it is not only used in clubs - I own a copy of 2.2 and I use it to create short films, and it would make my life a lot easier if it just played back audio with the clip as an option. It can't be difficult to implement can it? MIDI out would be good too - bit I can understand that may be more tricky ;)
