Is it time to upgrade to MAC OS High Sierra?

Hi everyone,
I'm always very skeptical to upgrade soon. But while I'm building my PC media server I'd like to have a back up using an EGPU, specifically AKITIO NODE PRO TB3, knowing I need an adapter to hook it to my MBP 15" late 2013 bought in 2014. I know that this enclosure with a Nvidia 1080 Ti Turbo it's been fully tested and works great, any comment or opinion?
