DXV in Blender

Hello everyone!
I've tried to find out if one could use the video editor in Blender in order to export to DXV, since that would make my work much easier. Since I don't have the option to choose DXV from any dropdown menu in Blender, i started looking for solutions online, and came across this:

Both "emidia" and "levon" report being able to export to DXV from blender, but their posts are from 2009 and I can't contact them for their input since I'm new on the forum. Is anyone else able to use Blender in order to export to DXV and/or has anyone else encountered my type of problem (not being able to choose DXV anywhere)?
